Just some more Bali relaxing...Seminyak style!

Day 2 and we continued the relaxing theme! Started the day with a great breakfast at Meja restaurant, A$5.50 each for bacon, eggs, coffee, sourdough and fruit platter!! Really....that's just too good! Then it was off for me to the Spa Day at Ambiente Spa - massage, body scrub, manicure and pedicure - 3 hours and A$65 later I was a new woman!! There are much cheaper options for massages etc but I like to select a nicer environment when looking for a complete package. This is my second visit to this Spa and I cannot fault them. They are very attentive and the rooms are quality. It is tucked inside a resort in the main street of Seminyak.

Feeling on top of the world, we went for a bit of a wander along Eat Street and settled on The Bistrot Vintage Cafe for lunch. This is a vintage style cafe. Awesome food. The afternoon again delivered poolside relaxing in the Villa.

Soon the evening was approaching and we had organised our driver, Mr Wayan a trip to Jimbaran Beach which is about an hour from Seminyak. We went here for sunset drinks and a BBQ seafood feast on the sand!! Jimbaran is a popular beach area that attracts many tourists to sit on the beach and watch the sun set. There are many seafood cafes or restaurants to pick from. Most of them offering a grilled BBQ style fresh seafood. We settle on Menege Cafe. Our selection was King Prawns, Lobster and Squid. Prawns were the pick...the squid not so great. The afternoon was beautiful, the weather is being very kind to us with our evenings having a great sea breeze. There has not been much rain so the beaches are quite nice at the moment.

Having a private Villa in Seminyak helps to end our evenings poolside with 'last drinks and swim' of the day. The evenings are humid but the pool has been cool. Another beautiful day in Bali!
